Nice little place on my route..

The Wulfsen train station, built in 1874, was once an important junction on the railway line from Berlin to the port of Bremen. In 1962 passenger services were discontinued. Today the historic building serves as a residence.

A pond with a bench to rest and relax. Swimming and camping is prohibited here.

Old railway line of the former connection Wittenberge-Buchholz i.d.Nordheide. In the winter months, if not everything is overgrown, you can still walk along the route. The gravel bed is z. T still in good condition and even some metal bollers that held the rails can still be found. Rather unusual. You get a good impression of a formerly idyllic railway line.

You can barely see the old track bed. Unfortunately very overgrown and therefore not directly accessible over a longer distance.

There are not many places between Bahlburg and Roydorf where you can get close to the shore.
