A truly contemplative stretch of river.

In the gorge, you feel tiny and exposed to the power of nature. The oversized boulders lining the streambed bear witness to the elemental power and constant changes in nature. Simply a brilliant stretch of trail along the Weissenbach stream.

Along the official "Hunderwasser" mountain bike tour, you will find this small house in Hundertwasser style. A sign provides information about it. And the whole thing is of course a great photo opportunity. Definitely a highlight of this route.

Once called the "Hahnsäge" (Hahn's Saw) by Heinrich Hahn, it served Friedensreich Hundertwasser not only as a place of retreat but also as a source of inspiration. After the artist acquired the saw in 1966, he created a total of 40 masterpieces there over the next 34 years. Hundertwasser himself once helped with the green roof. The facade painting, which is still well preserved today, was only designed after Hundertwasser's death by his friend Pravin Cherkoori and is based on the master's work.
