포더스도르프 암 제 등대는 1998년 해변 지역 재설계 과정에서 세워졌으며, 특징적인 빨간색과 흰색 도색으로 독일어권 지역의 가장 남쪽에 있는 내륙 등대 중 하나입니다. 약 12미터 높이의 이 금속 등대는 시각적 방향 보조 및 수상 스포츠 애호가를 위한 조명-폭풍 경보 시스템으로서의 기능 외에도 눈에 띄는 랜드마크 역할을 합니다. 오늘날 이곳은 부르겐란트의 유명한 상징이자 노이지들러 호수 동쪽 해안의 인기 있는 관광지이자 사진 촬영 명소입니다.

Maria am Birnbaum 순례 교회는 볼프슈탈 너머로 멀리서도 인상적인 시선을 사로잡는 곳입니다. 독특한 탑을 갖춘 바로크 양식의 건물은 18세기 초에 지어졌으며, 배나무에 대한 성모 숭배에서 유래했습니다. 교회 주변에서는 오스트리아-슬로바키아 국경의 풍경을 조용하고 아름다운 전망을 즐길 수 있습니다.

From the cycle path along the B9, a sweeping view opens up over fields toward Bratislava. The route runs mostly flat through open agricultural landscapes, allowing unobstructed vistas. Between the green fields, the silhouette of the city of Bratislava with its striking buildings can be seen in the distance. Especially in clear weather, the view appears expansive and flooded with light, and the open landscape conveys a sense of peace and space as you leisurely cycle along the cycle path.

Wolfsthal is a border municipality in the easternmost part of Austria, in the district of Bruck an der Leitha (Lower Austria), directly on the border with Slovakia and just a few kilometers from Bratislava. The town is picturesquely nestled between the Hainburg Mountains and the Danube floodplains and is particularly popular with cyclists and nature lovers. For cyclists, Wolfsthal is an important point on the Danube Cycle Path and EuroVelo 6. From here, the route continues either west towards Hainburg and Vienna or east directly across the border to Bratislava – a scenic and quiet route. The route through Wolfsthal runs along fields, floodplain forests, and small settlements, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. Also worth seeing is the Wolfsthal Parish Church, a Baroque building with a long history. A memorial in the town commemorates the history of the border region during the Cold War. Today, Wolfsthal is an open, quiet place with good connections to Bratislava (train, bus, bike) – an ideal stopover for anyone who wants to combine nature, tranquility and European history.
