This landmark is a ventilation tunnel for the Grand Union Canal, which passes under the field through the Blisworth Tunnel at this point.

Watch out for the cars at the crossroads!

A shady place to stop for a picnic when the sun is out.

Pretty easy riding and scenic route round the edge of forest on a road ride.

Plenty of parking though it is expensive, on-site cafe serving coffee, teas, lunches and ice creams. lots of walking routes for all abilities with many surfaced well enough for disabled access. The cycle route around the forest is an easy meander and perfect for taking the kids on a hot summers day to enjoy the shade of the trees. There is a treetop walk but I believe it is closed at the moment.

Very friendly staff. Good price for a delicious coffee. They have a wood burner if you're looking to warm up.
