Cropedy is a picturesque village situated along the Oxford Canal just north of Banbury. The village hosts the annual Fairport Convention festival and has a number of lovely cafes and pubs worth visiting.

This stone bridge spans over the famous Oxford Canal and offers up some wonderful views down the waterway. You may be lucky enough to spot some narrow canal boats as you pass by.

Spiceball Country Park in the heart of Banbury is a great place for a run. You'll follow a mixture of paved and woodland paths through a spacious green space that features shady wooded areas and river views.

Cropredy is a lovely village with walks along the Oxford Canal

The pretty village of Woodford Halse has a few handy amenities for those walking the Jurassic Way long-distance footpath. There's a convenience store, a pharmacy and a butcher, while places to eat include the traditional stone pub, Fleur de Lys, and the quaint Old School Cafe.
