The lock bridge is now open after years closed.

A nice stretch of towpath that runs alongside Waterbeach. It is only for foot traffic, as bikes are prohibited, so it makes for a calm walk or a great scenic part of a run.

Worth a Quick Look as you are passing

Bottisham Lock is currently closed, so you can't cross the river here!

It's a pleasure to walk along the River Cam, from Milton to Waterbeach. You'll notice so many different boats—some big, some small, some new, and some super rusty, plus lots of birds. The hiking path is shared with many cyclists, so you'll need to be attentive and let them pass.

Trinity College is the largest College in Cambridge.

Corpus Clock Description The Corpus Clock, also known as the Grasshopper clock, is a large sculptural clock at street level on the outside of the Taylor Library at Corpus Christi College.

The Round Church is a unique building in Cambridge, an eyecatcher.

A very impressive campus, you can enjoy it and relax and also learn about the College there. Unfortunately the Chapel wasn't accessible during our visit.

A good place to cross the river Cam, makes a good short cut from Newmarket Road to Chesterton.

One of the largest greens in the city - great place for picknick, sports or just to relax.

Provides a direct link from Cambridge North station and the busway to the city centre.

Unless you like stopping to look around a museum while wearing road cleats, not really a highlight. One for bike tourers, not road cyclists.

The River Cam joins is controlled at Bottisham Lock. The Fen Rivers Way trail runs on both sides, it's a great trail, easy underfoot for miles. Perfect place for a few miles where you relax and watch the wildlife.

Cycle and foot bridge next to the railway. On the Fen Rivers Way route this would be a good spot to choose what side of the river you want to walk along

An opportunity to cross the river.

Undoubtedly the most central and most impressive college in the city. The chapel building is simply impressive. Recently the grass in front has been transformed into a flowery meadow making the view even nicer. Can be visited at certain times.

Its name comes from the church on the junction, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is commonly known as the Round Church.

William Ison was killed by lightning on this spot in 1873.
