One of the few padded places

It feels like somewhere in the middle of nowhere is this very well-kept boulder in the middle of a field, with no special access. There are small signs and a board along the way that refer to the three-circle stone and its meaning, but you should take a close look. I've been there twice already. Once in the spring on my bike, the whole meadow was under water, and in the summer my feet were dry. Seating and a table to pause are provided.

The three-circle stone marks the border between the districts of Rotenburg, Stade and Harburg. The stone is located in a meadow a little off the road but can be easily reached via a path. There is a seat next to the stone so that you can take a breather.

As a cyclist or hiker you need a destination: here is one! This very neat stone stands almost in the middle of nowhere. Benches and a table invite you to take a rest with a great view.

Good starting point for a trip to the Thören Forest, which is easy to reach from the country road.

The car park is in the south of the Thörenwald and can be reached via Freetz or Kalbe.
