This is an excellent segregated traffic-free cycle path between Sutton Bridge and Kings Lynn. Look out for the type 22 hexagonal pillbox with integral entrance porch from WW2.

Cross Keys Bridge is a grade II listed swing bridge at Sutton Bridge which spans the tidal River Nene. It's the only crossing point for both traffic, pedestrians and cyclists over the river north of the Wisbech, 9 miles (14.5 km) to the south. For this reason it's a notorious bottleneck for vehicles. On the north side is a separate bridge for cyclists and pedestrians, with expansive views over the tidal Nene.

March is located on the banks of the navigable old course of the River Nene, which is populated by narrow boats and pleasure craft.

Wisbech is a market town and inland port known as 'the Capital of The Fens'. The tidal River Nene runs through the town and is spanned by two road bridges. It's noteworthy for its fine examples of Georgian architecture, particularly the parade of houses along the North Brink.

St. Peter's stands as a captivating ruin alongside the tranquil banks of the River Great Ouse. While its walls continue to stand tall, the roof and windows have long vanished. This church, constructed in the 15th century, gradually fell into disrepair at the dawn of the 20th century. In an unfortunate turn of events, in 2013, it was struck by lightning, further adding to its historical narrative.
