You can ride the go-karts down a gravel path to the valley station. Be careful, there are some dangerous bumps and mountain bikers crossing the path. The go-karts are OK, the ride costs €15, and backpacks can be transported to the valley station free of charge on the cable car.

It's about a 30-minute walk from the Mutteralmbahn cable car to the alpine hut, and the path is stroller-friendly. If you like Kaiserschmarrn, we only serve it Monday through Friday. No chance on weekends. I would have loved to try one, but we were too early. But despite all that, I would still recommend the alpine hut.

The view from the Karwendel is simply impressive. Looking north, a panorama opens up that encompasses the entire Karwendel mountain range – a true natural wonder that captivates the eye. Lake Natterer See is a picturesque natural lake west of Natters, just a few kilometers from Innsbruck. The water is clear and warms up pleasantly in the warmer months. Around the lake, there are lawns, jetties, and a large water sports facility with slides, a water trampoline, and stand-up paddleboard rentals. The lake is part of the Natterer See holiday paradise, an award-winning campsite with modern accommodations, a restaurant, and numerous recreational opportunities. In addition to traditional pitches, there are also luxury mobile homes, sleeping barrels, and safari tents. Even outside of the bathing season, the lake is a popular spot for walks, jogging, or simply relaxing in nature. In winter, when it's cold enough, the lake sometimes freezes over and becomes a natural ice skating rink. The **Wirtshaus Nattererboden** is an idyllic inn located in a forest clearing above Innsbruck. A warm, family-friendly atmosphere awaits you with excellent Tyrolean cuisine. The dishes are regional, sustainable, and partly sourced from the inn's own farm – from Kasspatzln (cheese spaetzle) and Wiener Schnitzel to sophisticated 7-course menus created by former world champion chef Gottfried Albert. A selection of 200 Austrian and international wines is also available. The inn is particularly **family-friendly**: Children can romp around on the large playground or visit animals such as alpacas, donkeys, ponies, and sheep on the adjacent farm.
