Entrance fee is £5 per person. Allow yourself some time, as the cathedral is very large and complex. Its cloister and courtyard are very beautiful. Inside the church, there was a replica made of Lego bricks, illuminated, and even a detailed interior.

Morgan's Mount is a tower on the north side of Chester's city walls that served as a lookout platform during the English Civil War. It is the first tower along the walls west of the North Gate. Space for parking and a picnic table. Also toilets! Good walks along the river especially northwards towards Chester.

It can get a little busy and is narrow in places. Just take it easy and be respectful.

A bit narrow but a great traffic free route into and out of town
