We took the red route from Komoot. Everything was fine up to about half the route. After that, it wasn't so nice. The path led through tall grass until we finally, without noticing, strayed from the route and ended up in the middle of nowhere. We continued anyway and eventually found ourselves back on the right path. Overall, though, it was a nice hike.

Photovoltaic panels as far as the eye can see. A few sheep among them to give the whole thing a green touch. The historic wrought-iron cross has been replaced with a rather tasteless wooden crucifix. This has transformed what was once the most beautiful vantage point in the southern Franconian Forest. Renewable energy: Yes! But where it's integrated. And not paving over the best farmland or scenically valuable sites in the name of profit maximization.
