Lime Tree Avenue is one of Clumber Parks most striking features. At around two miles long, and lined with 1,296 lime trees, it's recognised as the longest double avenue of lime trees in Europe. Leading into the heart of the park, it's a wonderful place that gives a very strong sense of arrival.

Great spot for a quick loop while doing off-road riding, the lake links up really well to some nice singletrack and Pit top runs

Bike rack next to cafe, ideal place to stop , secure bike and keep in view while getting a cofee and bacon roll!

Beautiful park full of woodland trails and a serpentine lake, lots to see and explore with a historical chapel and ornamental bridge, cycle hire available too in the park.

Sandy base can get boggy, great little downhill when dry.

This is a lovely section of the Robin Hood way from Creswell Crags to Clumber Park. It crosses betwen Gouldsmeadow and Shrubbery Lake and offers plenty of scenery including lakes, meadows and tree lined avenues.

Superb coffee machine in this van as well as bike stands, track pump & mobile bike services. Lovely chap & hot tasty coffee by the canal. He parks here Weds to Sunday & you can call him for mobile bike services any time 👌

Not much elevation around Clumber, but this section of the Robin Hood way through woodland is enjoyable on a MTB especially in the winter. Plenty of natural forest floor (rather than hardpack gravel) which gets a bit muddy & cut-up.

Dismount when passing Cottages.

Just routed round a field near Creswell Crags, passable but might have been better to go through the car park at the crags.

Great mix of cycle path and singe track around the lake - a very pleasant place to ride a bike. No cafe or toilet facilities by the lake, but a fine spot for a picnic or a paddle.

Clumber Park was once the home of the Duke of Newcastle but the mansion was demolished in 1938. It's now a beautiful estate of parkland, heath, woods and the lake. It's now managed by the National Trust. The parkland is free to access but there are paid entry or members areas. NT cafes, ice cream van and shop on site. There are also over 20miles of traffic free cycle ways on the estate, most are better suited for a mountain or touring bike but they are flat and not technical so if you don't mind getting a bit muddy...

Be careful if you get up too much speed downhill, it bends right and gets quite rutted. Then a little further the trail ends with sand, again it can catch you out if travelling fast!

Why the ducks would only choose to cross the road at this point I don't know

Miles of relatively traffic-free roads to explore this leafy parkland. A great place to picnic on a warm summer day, but a lovely quiet area at any time of year.

With gorgeous gravel trails, picturesque canal towpaths, fragrant forest roads, Route 6 is a pleasure to ride at all times of year. This section between Clumber Park and Worksop is a particular treat.

Lovely stretch of bridleway with a variety of surfaces - farm track, forest trail, even a section straight through the golf course.

Lovely, friendly staff - big portions and low prices. Last time we visited the cafe was full inside and it was raining, so they offered to set up a table for us in their shipping container so that we could eat lunch out of the rain.
