Mundesley is a seaside village featuring coloured beach huts, a long stretch of sandy beach, a number of eateries, and a pub. It's a popular spot for holidaymakers looking to enjoy a traditional break away from the hustle and bustle.

A nice stop to view the steam trains. Sheringham’s original station was re-opened in 1975 as the main station of the North Norfolk Railway. The original level crossing was reinstated in March 2010, allowing access to the mainline once again. The first passenger train over the new crossing was steam locomotive ‘Oliver Cromwell’, hauling a train from London Liverpool Street. The station has been restored close to its 1955 appearance, when British Railways were responsible for the line. The distinctive blue totems and enamel platform signs are evocative of that period. The Old Luggage Office buffet is open from 9.30 – 4.30. Sheringham Station’s souvenir shop is located next to the footbridge. It is open from 11.00 – 4.30 on most days. Step free access to Platform 2 is available via the foot crossing. Trains to Weybourne and Holt will leave from either Platform 1 or 2 depending on the timetable in operation during your visit. Cromer has a very 'english' seafront, with a victorian pier, esplanade and backed by grand victorian buildings. Both beaches are blue flag and there are plenty of places to eat and drink should you need to fuel before or after your run.

The best view from Mundesley is just out of the village on the coast rode towards Bacton by the entrance to the lifeboat. Here you are on top of the cliffs and can see for miles.

Great stop for a coffee and cake. A nice through road as well for bikes (including road ones) so no need to go back on yourself

This is a slightly tapering tower with Y tracery in its belfry openings. It dates from the late 13th / early 14th century, but was rebuilt from the first floor upwards in 1886/7, though possibly the belfry stonework was re-used. It is circular all the way up and has a battlemented parapet. The nave west wall shows the width of the earlier church as it still has its ferricrete quoins showing within the wall, though the church was widened in the 13th century. This old part of the wall also includes much random ferricrete. The south nave wall is rendered with plaster, but the other walls show their flintwork. On both sides the nave has pointed windows with a quatrefoil in the apex, either side of a larger Tudor square-headed window, to let in more light. The chancel has an attractive east window with “butterfly” tracery. The south porch had an upper room, known as a “parvise”, but its window is now blocked. The face of the porch is covered with white flints and there is a gable cross. The present tower arch is Tudor, dating from 16th century. A very attractive little church, which has clearly benefitted from some renovations, in the picturesque village of Gresham.

With colorful beach huts and a long stretch of sandy beach, Mundesley seafront is a lovely place to visit. The village grew during the Victorian era after the opening of a railway (which has since gone) when affluent holidaymakers would flock to the village for its fresh sea breeze. Today, the village is still a popular seaside resort and has various holiday chalets, hotels and caravan parks. It also has a popular golf course which was designed by Harry Vardon.

Felbrigg Hall is a stunning 17th-century country house known for its Jacobean architecture and Georgian interior. Set amongst acres of woodland and orchards, the grounds are also a lovely place to explore. The estate originally belonged to the Felbrigg family before passing to John Wyndham's family who owned the house for centuries before it was given to the National Trust. Robery Wyndham Ketton-Cremer, who left the estate to the National Trust, was the author of a number of books on the estate and Norfolk. During winter, the parkland is open from dawn to dusk but the house is closed, tickets cost £7.85. Tickets to the full estate in summer cost £12.40. A pier has existed in some form in Cromer since 1391. After various wooden piers were washed away or destroyed by the sea, an iron pier was constructed by Douglass and Arnott, opening in 1901. However, gales and storms continued to plague the pier throughout its history. In February 2012, a large project was announced to improve its sea defences.
