Beautiful view, benches and a slide

The bench rotates 360°, so you're always guaranteed a view of the sun.

Beautiful for hiking. From here it is not far to the "Dickschieder Window": a view like in a romantic painting.

Good parking lot as a starting point for the two Wispertrails "Wispertalsteig" and "Wispertaler Krönchen". There are information boards about the hiking trails, a picnic bench, a shelter and a toilet next to the cemetery.

A good stretch in one place only very steep

Great developed refuge in very good condition. Rarely seen such a good shelter.

At just 5.2 kilometers, this round crowns the Wisper Trails as the only premium walking trail. Espenschied is the sunny climatic health resort in the Wispertal and was first mentioned in a town directory in 1187 by Archbishop Konrad von Mainz. The climatic health resort lies like a sun terrace 450 meters high in the Rheingau-Taunus Nature Park. The south-facing slope and the mild south-west currents on the one hand, and the foothills of the Taunus mountains with lots of forest on the other hand, give Espenschied a healthy, healing climate.
