The confluence of the Argen is located about 1 km from Blumegg near Neukirch. The Upper Argen rises near Oberstaufen and flows through Wangen after the wild Eistobel. The Lower Argen rises east of Missen and flows via Isny and Waltenweiler to the confluence of the Upper and Lower Argen.
