If you love angular, narrow, natural enduro trails, this is the place for you. A little away from the hustle and bustle of the World Cup and flow routes, the Schwarzleo Trail, together with the Knappen Trail, leads a little "shadow existence". But that doesn't have to be a bad thing, because you won't find any break bumps here and you hardly have to worry about racing downhill cracks pushing the pace in search of the next KOM or airtime. And if you want to tackle even more difficult challenges later on, such as the Matzalmtrail or the BongoBongo, this is a great place to warm up, because the trail is red and therefore also manageable for beginners. You have to tolerate a - very short - uphill at the beginning ;-) Similar to the AlteSchmiede Trail, you are here in the area of Leogang's mining history.
