In the area known as "Im Stäbchen," further up at "Wolfsheck," and in the section "Hinter dem Haag," numerous basalt boundary stones (W36-W44) can be found. Apparently, the border between the villages and the town of Kaub was highly contested here. Stones W38 and W39, which are carefully hewn, bear the letters ST C for the town of Caub (Kaub) with the year 1782, and on the reverse, the letter We for Weisel. The section before the Schwedenschanze was probably the most Alpine part of the track. Single trail and quite steep slopes (coming from the north). Very beautiful in dry weather with good visibility.

The fountain and the large hiking information board are currently dismantled because the kindergarten is being expanded. After the renovations are completed (expected by Easter 2026), the fountain and the hiking information board will be reinstalled here. The fountain is currently located near the community hall.
