The mill on Mühlweg was one of seven mills along the Högenbach stream between Högen and Weigendorf. They were powered by waterwheels and used to grind grain since the 17th/18th centuries. The old village oven is located directly next to this mill. It is still used today for the traditional oven festival held annually in August.

This fountain in Högen is a memorial to the court councilor, provost, and chancellery director Christian Knorr von Rosenroth. Equipped with two benches, the fountain invites you to linger. The man was also a poet and composed the well-known hymn "Morgenglanz der Ewigkeit" (Morgengleam of Eternity).

From the Lichtenegg ruins, you can look out over the Sulzbach and Hersbruck regions. The view is fantastic!
