In Wallerstein, if the weather is good, you should definitely climb the rock (near the princely castle) - the view of the Ries is magnificent.

The approx. 2.2 km long beaver and tree path in Benzenzimmern along a lake landscape designed by the largest rodent in Europe impresses with its natural biodiversity and contains interesting information boards about the beaver and its habitat. In recent years, the path has become a magnet for nature lovers, walkers and families. The path is designed as a circular hiking trail. More than 20 different types of trees and shrubs can be discovered on one section, and QR codes can be used to find out more about the plants. As a further highlight, the path will have a viewing platform in summer 2023, which will offer a panoramic view of the water landscape created by the beaver. The Benzenzimmern Sports and Cultural Association has taken over the sponsorship for this path.

Count Anton Karl von Oettingen-Wallerstein had the Wallerstein plague column erected by the sculptor Johann Georg Bschorer from Oberndorf in 1722-1725, based on the model of Bohemian plague columns and the Viennese plague column on the Graben. The rich figurative decoration of the column shows St. Mary and St. Rochus, Sebastian and Anthony of Padua. In 2006, the plague column was completely renovated by master stone sculptor and stone restorer Franz Josef Wittner.

The Maria Hilf Chapel was built in the Baroque style from 1623 to 1626. Worth seeing is the rotunda with dome and lantern and the Renaissance portal on the north side.
