A squat chapel from the 1950s with a parish hall.

The central church of the Blankenrath parish. The hiking trail of the same name leads past the Church of the Assumption of Mary. The Romanesque church dates from very early times. After a fire, the church hall was rebuilt in the late 19th century.

Dear friend, I really don't feel like having to set highlights again and again, because some idiot combines the explicitly differentiated highlights into a single one just hours after setting them up, so that they can't be found by all other Komootlers! So there are TWO tunnels that are about 200 meters apart, but you will only find one of them. Thanks for nothing fuck komoot!

The lettering on the stud appears to be a "Z". The tunnel, slightly filled with water, leads dead straight about 100 m into the mountain. At the end the tunnel is filled with slate and soil.

The tunnel leads a long way straight into the mountain to a collapsed mining dome. There you can squeeze into a tunnel that branches off to the left, which leads to another, two-part cathedral, from which several branches lead up and down, but a few rockfalls prevent you from progressing.

A few meters next to the bridge over the Altlayer Bach is the tunnel marked with an "e", which leads a few meters S-shaped into the rock.
