A nice spot with benches to take a breather

lovely place for a break ducks etc and some fishing

Great in summer months but for me, too slippy and slidy. But fun for the younger generations

Littlewood is one of Knowsley's oldest woods, on the former coach road linking Knowsley and Croxteth Parks. It is mostly oak, with attractive spring flowers including red campion and interesting fungi and insect life. Croxteth Hall Country Park is at the heart of what was once a great country estate stretching hundreds of square miles and was the ancestral home of the Molyneux family, the Earls of Sefton. After the death of the last Earl it was given to the City of Liverpool. The estate has four main attractions - the historic Hall, Croxteth Home Farm and the Victorian Walled Garden, and a 500 acre country park.

Holy Family RC Church is situated on Hall Lane and is a building of over 100 years old. The Church was funded and built by the Stapleton-Bretherton family of Rainhill. It is dedicated to the memory of Frederick Stapleton-Bretherton, his wife the Honourable Isabella Stapleton-Bretherton and two of their children, Mary Stapleton-Bretherton (Sister of Charity) and 2nd Lieutenant Robert Charles Lucius Stapleton-Bretherton who died in the South African War. The two children are commemorated in two stained glass windows in the south transept. The Church was opened on 15th August, 1910. It was built using sandstone sourced from Mr Stapleton-Bretherton’s quarry in Rainhill. The architect was Mr Gilbertson of Liverpool and the builder was Mr Mercer of Widnes.

Lovely path quite road. Can be some tractors and a lovely little farm where you can pick pumpkins for Halloween. They have a lovely cafe and plenty of animals to see

Little Wood Greenway is full of wildlife and beautiful trees and gardens Nice to ride in the summer for some shade 😎 watch out for dogs and children

Situated at the heart of the picturesque Knowsley Village, on the outskirts of Liverpool, this wonderful village hall was built by Lord Derby for use by the community. Whilst much loved and well used by the local community, the building’s facilities were in need of updating, whilst the existing layout and access were restricting use of the spaces. It is still closed at the moment.
