A sleepy, dreamy, and hidden border crossing. Very idyllic...

The small religious monument encountered here by bikers and passersby will likely cause a surprise. For unexpectedly, two crosses, each very differently designed, can be found in one place. + First, a classic wooden crucifix, a wayside cross with the corpus of Christ and the INRI inscription above his head, topped with a gable roof. + Second (immediately in front of it), another, clearly more modern and much simpler cross, consisting only of the two beams, but neither a corpus nor an inscription.

Nice trail to ride, not technically difficult, but nice flow...

Here, a clearing in the forest was used to create a small "sacred area" in the middle of nature, one that cyclists shouldn't pass by unnoticed. A small hill constructed of natural stone—one could also call it a grotto—rises in the middle of the forest clearing. It is crowned by a cross with the Corpus Christi. The centerpiece of this small sacred monument, however, is a depiction of the Virgin Mary, with a votive tablet on either side of her image. Seating and tables complete the ensemble.
