They have been updating the jump section and modifying the red route, also putting a blue route

When we arrived the chef had already left. However the fabulous bar person "Sam" went out of her way and made us hot sandwiches and chips. She was fabulous and the food was delicious

As part of the East Lancashire Cycleway project, in the Helmshore area, the path to the north of Helmshore Viaduct has recently been resurfaced and the intention is to continue improving the route southwards across the viaduct towards Gregory Fold.

This is the route i on the old road "Holcombe old road" Next too the famous climb, "The Rake" It's very slippery on the cobblestone after some rain. It's a steep tricky little climb.

Good tarmac there is no mud

Artist Michael Farrell's the Weave was inspired by the interweaving of individual threads of fabric under a microscope, paying homage to Rossendale's textile heritage. The colour scheme is based on gingham. It was created in 1994 and forms a part of the Irwell Sculpture Trail.
