Very quiet road with gentle hills in beautiful scenery.

This little road triangle here (Garder-Kroer-Helgestadveien) is rather nice for hill intervals. My favorite is going clock-wise, starting on the lowest point of Kroerveien and race to the highest point of Garderveien (close to the Furumoveien intersection).

Some really bad and cold weather passed by while we were in the store for some extra energy. A really nice personell in the store let us wait inside for about 30 minutes, borrow the toilet and we even got some coffee! It saved our day!

Garder kirke is a long church from 1881 in Vestby Municipality. The building is made of wood and has 175 seats. The altarpiece was painted by Christen Brun based on Adolph Tidemand's altarpiece Christ in Heaven (Tyristrand kirke). There was already a church here in the Middle Ages, but its appearance is unknown. The oldest wooden church was probably built in the early 17th century. Beautiful road between Ski/Kråkstad and Tomter. Very little traffic. Gentle climb from the Kråkstad side and steep one from Tomter.

Pretty cool hydroelectric power station to bike across

There's a fine path from both sides down to the crossing of the plant. A bit rough on the northern side, but no stress at all. Just ride carefully.
