The pizza alone is worth a stop! I had the "Interrail" pizza with ham, rocket, parmesan and olive oil for 200 krone. It was huge. I can only recommend it.

Nice harbour town with several cafes and shops to resupply on the road

Very nice cafe, I can highly recommend it. Not only are the homemade pizzas very good, but there are books to read and games to play in case the weather is bad and you have to spend a longer time there :-)

If you are in the town, you should definitely visit the Edvard Munch House. It is a small museum and everything is still in its original condition. It is worth it!

Either you come over the old railroad bridge, or down into the valley, the stop at Hølen is worthwhile. Enjoying the river and good food is a good reason for the stop.
