The hall church, built of rubble stone, dates from 1723. The tower is considerably older, having originally been the bower of the Hanstein manor house. The date 1674 is visible on the western portal. Noteworthy are the curved, two-story gallery and the wooden barrel vaulted ceiling.

From here you have a great view of the viaduct.

Former Cistercian nunnery from 1268 to 1810. After that it was mainly used for agricultural purposes and from 1950/51 also for industrial purposes. It was bought by the municipality of Bickenriede in 1994. Since then it has been restored in order to preserve the historical structure and to be able to use the buildings again.

Look at the waterfall, a true natural highlight and now also a stamp station.

In the artificially created grotto found here (referred to as a cave by the creator of this highlight) there is an interesting little shrine that reminds us of the Passion of Jesus: it is the Mount of Olives Grotto in Helmsdorf. According to the New Testament accounts of the Passion of Jesus Christ, the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem was the scene of two events that followed the "Last Supper": + Jesus' prayer to God the Father, during which the overtired disciples fell asleep (the scene is captured in the picture in the apse of the grotto); + and then the arrest of Jesus.
