The Trondenes Farm is a reconstructed medieval farm in Norway, depicting life around the year 1200. It was built based on archaeological findings and historical sources and serves to illustrate the medieval history of the region.

Here you can see and hear the history of the region from the Stone Age to the 1950s, with a focus on the Viking Age, the Middle Ages and the Second World War.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Trondenes, located on the Trondenes peninsula about three kilometers north of Harstad, is the northernmost medieval stone church in the world. The church was built between the 13th and 15th centuries, although the exact construction period is unknown.

Impressive (and sad) piece of history about the POW camp during WWII. There's also a museum nearby from 11:00 AM, and the church is also open then. Clean public restrooms are available.
