After climbing up beautiful stone slabs that lead to this rocky summit, you will discover a magnificent 360-degree view. A pile of stones marks the official summit point.

There is no good reason not to stop here. You are in a peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings, and you have a sweeping view of the lake and hills. All this from a large wooden bench.

It's the kind of path that makes you feel adventurous. There isn't really a path or trail, but you can still see where you're going. It's very exciting because it feels like you're blazing a trail. All this in a very green environment with beautiful stone hills in the distance.

You can find here a wooden teepee, standing on the rock, and facing the bay. You can enter inside, have a break and enjoy the view.

Bautasteiner is an ancient site with seven standing stones. It is dated from the Iron Age but has been reconstructed by Jan Petersen in 1952. Only one of the seven stones was in it’s original location when it was registered in 1919.
