Halandskogen is a small forest that rises as you venture deeper into it. It's a fairly easy hike, especially since halfway through, the beautiful Solabu cabin awaits you for a short break. Next to the trail, there is also a skate and bike track and a small picnic area with tables and benches.

This daytrip cabin is designed as a social meeting place in the forest. In it, you can light a fire in the stove, have lunch while enjoying the view on the mountains and Ryfylke. Best part of it : you can grab a book from the small library inside the cabin. This is a magical place !

Åsen Batteri offers a unique look into WWII history in Sola. Built to defend the nearby airport, this site served as a command post and anti-aircraft battery.
