Kleppelunden is the name of the green park at the foot of Kleppvarden. Many paths lead through the trees, some of which are also lit at night. The park, which is also used for music concerts, has playgrounds for children, benches and toilets.

Hellestøstranden is a scenic beach characterized by its large sand dunes and sections of smooth pebbles. It is part of the coastal trail and it is a great place to witness the power of the North Sea waves.

A nice place to stop for a rest or a swim if the weather is nice. There is plenty of wildlife to spot and some refreshment options in the nearby town.

Perhaps Jæren's prettiest beach. Paradise for surfers. Free parking and toilet (2024). Beautiful view to Feistein Lighthouse. There is usually plenty of space and few people at the beach.
