A quiet, beautifully situated spot. There are rest areas both by the lake and at the parking lot. The tables and benches at the parking lot are even covered. A break is worth it, as the view is magnificent.

Near Sebbersund, you can see a typical former Viking villages. It looks like huts and sheds had a thatched roof back then, and they were not very comfortable!

Sebbersund is a small town with 341 inhabitants located around 28 kilometres south-west of Aalborg. From 1970 to 2006, Sebbersung belonged to the Nibe municipality.

The village church was built at the end of the 12th century with a Romanesque nave and choir. The Gothic tower was built around 1500 and the church was enlarged.
