Perfect for a gravel bike

The Heidemolen in Malderen is a charming windmill dating back to 1864 and once served as a corn mill. Originally built as a standard mill, the structure was converted into a stone windmill in the 1940s. The mill sits picturesquely in the Flemish countryside, surrounded by fields and open space, and offers visitors a beautiful historical glimpse into the region’s mill building tradition.

Hammesraat near Kobbegem is a picturesque road. The road runs through the rural landscape and offers views of fields, grasslands and characteristic farms in the distance.

Visits by appointment. Guided tours only possible on weekdays, but not on Fridays. Last visit starts at 2 p.m. Reservations only by email. A tour consists of a visit to the brewery (max. 1 hour) followed by a tasting (max. 1 hour). (Tourism Flemish Brabant)
