There's plenty to discover for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers at the Stubnerkogel! You can either climb the summit on foot or comfortably reach it by cable car. Once at the top, the cozy summit restaurant invites you to stop for a bite to eat. From the panoramic platforms, you'll enjoy breathtaking views over the picturesque Gastein Valley all the way to the majestic Grossglockner. A highlight is the 140-meter-long, cantilevered suspension bridge, where you'll experience the sensation of floating in midair. An unforgettable experience you shouldn't miss!

Easily accessible from the summit of the Stubnerkogel. Basic fitness, surefootedness, and a head for heights are required. There is an easier route to the summit signposted, but this should not be underestimated due to the truly steep terrain, especially in the last third below the summit.

A superb hiking area with magnificent views. You can reach the summit on foot or by cable car and from there continue hiking to the Tischkogel, Zittrauer Tisch, Bockhartsee, or the Stubneralm. A special highlight is the 140-meter-long suspension bridge and the various viewing platforms.

The steep climb is worth it. A beautiful mountain lake with a view of the Tischler Glacier.
