Alpicella, a hamlet of Varazze (SV), boasts prehistoric origins with Neolithic settlements dating back to the 4th century BC. It was known in ancient times as "Cella delle Alpi." The area, characterized by rock archaeology and Celtic-style dry-stone houses, has had a rural history linked to pastoralism and agriculture, as evidenced by the local archaeological museum.

Stella, in the province of Savona, is the birthplace of Sandro Pertini, the seventh President of the Italian Republic, born in the hamlet of Stella San Giovanni on September 25, 1896. Today it is a place of remembrance where you can visit his birthplace-museum and a statue in his honor.

The road is sometimes immersed in the woods and sometimes offers an exceptional view of the sea. The asphalt is decidedly bumpy and gravelly, so it's best to take your time!

Near these gardens, along the Arenzano cycle path, there is also a fully equipped bike rental shop.

Wonderful with enchanting views. It starts from Arenzano, where you can also rent bicycles of all kinds, and ends in Varazze.
