이 교회는 원래 1474년에 르네상스 양식으로 지어졌습니다. 1643년에서 1683년 사이에 바로크 양식으로 교회를 개조하고 확장하는 후속 단계가 있었습니다. 이 기회에 방향도 바뀌었습니다. 이 교회는 FAI에 등록되어 있습니다. 현재의 분홍색 파사드는 17세기의 일반적인 형태로, 단순한 이오니아식 기둥머리와 축제가 있는 필레스터로 나뉜 두 개의 층으로 되어 있습니다. 바로크 양식의 포털 중앙에는 대리석 부조로 성체 전시기가 묘사되어 있습니다. 포털 위쪽 벽감에는 성 베드로의 조각상이 있고, 그 위에는 바로크 양식의 사엽형 창문이 내부를 비춥니다. 파사드의 왕관은 끝에 두 개의 첨탑이 있는 곡선형 페디먼트로 이루어져 있습니다. 마리아 어머니 교회에 헌정된 나무 문(20세기)은 조각가 이탈로 베르나르디니의 작품입니다.
