From the summit of Mount Trstelj, the view extends from the Adriatic Sea to the Vipava Valley. On clear days, you can admire the Dolomites and the Julian Alps.

The museum has recently been re-arranged and equipped with multimedia stations. The museum guides make the narration of the battles of the Carso compelling.
