The church of San Giacomo is located along the ancient royal road that leads to Trentino and has an ancient history. It was founded around the tenth century, together with a hostel for pilgrims, by the Benedictine monks of San Pietro in Monte Orsino di Serle, who had the task of reclaiming the area.

This village is also the cradle of Bagoss cheese, an excellent product created following centuries-old traditions by small local companies that use Bruna Alpina cow's milk and hay from the surrounding mountain pastures.
