The Saline di Augusta are a complex of salt pans located on the east coast of Sicily, Italy. This area has a long history of sea salt extraction. Today, the salt marshes are an important protected natural area and a habitat for migratory birds. They also offer educational sightseeing tours.

A steep but incredibly beautiful uphill (or downhill) stretch. It offers a breathtaking view of Solarino and Anapo.

Melilli, Sicily, is a lovely town famous for its maritime heritage and Mediterranean cuisine. It boasts a vibrant local culture, influenced by Greek and Roman history, and offers stunning coastal views as well as historic sights such as St. Nicholas Church.

A very beautiful and quiet beach. It doesn't have a very complete facility for bathers, so it's probably a good idea to stop and admire the beautiful sea instead of taking a dip.
