Portopalo di Capo Passero, is the southernmost town on the Syracuse coast and has the particularity of being washed by two seas, the Ionian and the Mediterranean.

Extending for a dozen kilometers, the Vendicari reserve is located between Noto and Marzamemi and is a true spectacle of nature. Here you can go birdwatching, snorkelling, hiking or take a dip in the sea from one of the many rocky beaches. Entering by bicycle is not prohibited by the official website of the reserve (https://www.riserva-vendicari.it), but it could be difficult: I recommend you tie it somewhere to enter the reserve peacefully.
