From the Kreuzwiesenalm you have a wonderful view of the Peitlerkofel... Very nice mountain hut, which even has a sauna. The food is very tasty, and it's not for nothing that it's recommended by Gault-Millau. The camp offers a rustic place to stay overnight.

Very beautiful mountain pasture with a great panorama, always well attended. About 25 minutes to walk. The Kaiserschmarrn is amazing.

The Komoot tour from Kiens leads over several kilometers uphill on the hiking trail I think 63 or 65, impassable even with an "eMtb" ... we chose our own tour over the Sonnenstrasse, it's downhill but the bridge on the left has collapsed and the paths are heavily washed out but fun.....but the Alm is great, but I think the Plattneralm is even better....no 🚗 tourism

If the Alm had been open on Friday, we would have gone inside. So we ate our Vespers on a bench there. works too.
