로첼라 해안을 따라 걷기 좋은 산책로입니다. 여름철에는 휴식을 취할 수 있는 많은 장소가 있습니다.

On the Passo del Mercante, my father told me, that my grandfather met my grandmother. My grandfather was a young woodcutter who climbed the pass from Cittanova; and my grandmother was a shepherdess from Canalo Vecchio. They met by chance, and immediately argued: it seems that she didn't like the woodcutters, because they were too noisy and scared the cattle... But my grandfather, evidently made the difference, "maybe he was cute and she was very beautiful" and after the argument they made peace and fell in love.... Every time I'm in the area, I always go to the Pass to greet the memory of my grandfather 👴 and my grandmother👵 😊👋👋

Mandatory stop at the stall, for a sandwich, a glass of wine, a dessert or a coffee. The owner is very nice.

There are several scattered along this stretch of highway. Probably dating back to World War II. It is possible to access it but I didn't.

The Roman Theater of Locri, located in Contrada Pirettina, originally Greek from the 4th century BC, was transformed in the 1st century BC, evidence of the Romanisation of the city. Discovered in 1940 by Paolo Enrico Arias and subsequently excavated until 1957, the building could accommodate 4,500 spectators, offering a panoramic view of the city and the sea.

Even from afar they amaze with their massive presence.

Place of great silence and solitude. During a half-hour stop not a living soul passed by.

Mandatory stop at the Zomaro crossroads stall. The lady's sandwiches are famous throughout Aspromonte, exceptional!
