A sweeping view across the lagoon to the Adriatic Sea. We don't know what the strange structure standing in the water is.

With a surface area of 1058 hectares it represents one of the last and best preserved remnants of lowland forests, a memory of the ancient forests that were found until a few centuries ago along the Adriatic coast; it is easy to compare it with the pine forest of Classe, the Selva Oscura mentioned by Dante, equally evocative.

it's nice to discover it coming from the white canal, you pass the bridge over the canal and it appears among the trees, it looks like a medieval castle, in my opinion very suggestive.

The cycle path is asphalted and smooth and the wheels roll quickly. On one side there is the historic Canal Bianco, and on the other there are fields that are full of flowers in spring and summer.

Here is the asphalt cycle path that runs alongside the Bianco canal. It was one of the main channels to help the flow of water during the reclamation. You can take boat excursions to discover more about the canal and the area.

From here you can admire the meeting point of the Po River and the wide, expansive Adriatic Sea. It's a great place to stop and enjoy nature.
