The winery specializes in Eisacktal white wines, with Grüner Veltliner playing a particularly important role. The Grüner Veltliner Muga is a winery specialty, where the grapes are harvested in November when they are partially dried and affected by botrytis. The wine is fermented in wooden barrels and aged on the lees, which gives it its unique character. In addition to Grüner Veltliner, the Spitalerhof also grows Sauvignon, Sylvaner, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Lagrein. You can enjoy refreshments at the Muga restaurant.
