The lake boasts a rich birdlife of ducks, gulls, and other birds, which is why parts of the lake are protected during the breeding season. At the end of August 2025, the trail was so rough that it was practically impassable by bike. I had to carry my bike in places. Narrow, slippery wooden boards and large boulders on the trail make the passage difficult even for hikers without bikes.
