Easy to reach parking, with many spaces available. In high season it is advisable to arrive early. It costs 5 euros per day and is a great starting point for many excursions in the surrounding area. There is also a kiosk where you can have a drink before leaving.

From the car park (daily fee now 5 euros) there are great circular routes and the Saltner Sagenweg through a beautiful larch forest, beautiful views of the Sciliar and in summer also horses in the large pasture area.

Unfortunately closed in September 2022 due to structural defects. Hopefully it will be restored and opened to visitors soon. The view of the Penegal is great but probably even better with a tower!

When the weather is clear, the Möltner Joch offers visitors a beautiful view of the Latemar area, the Rosengarten and the Sciliar massif. You can also see the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto in the distance.

The Panorama Hotel is open, the staff is very friendly and the Kaiserschmaren was very good. The previous owner let everything go to waste. The new ones are now renovating, the main building has already been renovated, the swimming pool is also being renovated. The observation tower should also be repaired, that would be fantastic. So it's always worth a hike.
