These last remaining stone crosses in Oelsnitz are probably about 400 years old and are medieval atonement monuments. They were restored in 1982 and are protected archaeological sites. One of these crosses originally stood near the Zoephel House, and the other near the market at the corner of Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße and Dr. Friedrichs-Straße.
