The Struga flows through the lignite mining area north of the Nochten opencast mine and is almost completely canalized along its entire course. The Wake and Beach is a beautifully designed destination for relaxing, wakeboarding, eating, drinking, etc. The prices are reasonable and you can really unwind.

The blue Barkas in the middle of the water is the eye-catcher of the wakeboarding and water skiing facility on Lake Halbendorf. Bathers big and small can let off steam in a large aqua park with slides, climbing walls and water trampolines.
