The road from the Boccio hamlet to Forcella Alta is entirely unpaved. The terrain is fairly compact.

Where the asphalt road ends and the dirt road begins, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Lecco lakes.

The Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Celana boasts ancient thirteenth-century origins. The first documents that refer to a small parish nucleus in Celana date back to 1244. Subsequent changes were made to the original nucleus over the centuries, until it took on its current appearance halfway between the Baroque and the late eighteenth century. Most of the work dates back to the sixteenth century. Inside the church is the Altarpiece of the Assumption commissioned from Lorenzo Lotto in 1527 by Balsarino Marchetti de Angelini, a rich merchant originally from Caprino. The altarpiece presumably represented the instrument of a power game to promote the appointment as parish head of a distant relative of Balsarino, Cristoforo Marchetti de Angelini. The dispute seemed to end with favorable outcomes for the Celanesi with the visit, in 1610, of Cardinal Borromeo, who handed over the management rights of the assets of the Church of Celana directly to the Seminary. The current appearance of the building is due to a series of works conducted starting in 1790 by an anonymous "valuable architect".
