Beautiful suspension bridge over the Mallero river, very high and panoramic both over Sondrio and the entrance to Val Malenco and its gorge carved out by the water. The passage is very wide and safe, and connects Ponchiera and Mossini without passing through Sondrio. It is worth stopping by if you are going towards Val Malenco or if you want to take a panoramic tour above Sondrio.

1st part uphill from Arquino to Scilironi (Spriana), very accessible and suitable for everyone with any bike. Most of it is on "ultra-grip" rubberized asphalt, little compact gravel dirt, little compact forest dirt, small cemented sections; slopes between zero and 5%.

Apart from the steep ups and downs of crossing the embankment near Selvetta di Colorina (which can only be traveled on foot or on two wheels), it is about 3.5 km of grassy country road with stretches of muddy earth and coarse, compact gravel, very pleasant and entirely flat, which develops along the right bank of the Adda river from San Pietro di Berbenno to Selvetta, parallel to the Sentiero Valtellina. An excellent "off-road" alternative to the more monotonous and paved Sentiero Valtellina, it is suitable for anyone and any type of bicycle as long as you don't venture there after a rainy period.
