BRIDGE CLOSED: on May 4, 2025 I found the entire bridge section closed, I think it had been like that for a long time. I tried to cross anyway but in fact there are large fallen logs to climb over on the path, but above all the last section of the bridge collapsed to the bottom due to a huge post. Let's hope they fix it, and soon. 😭

The Naviglio Pallavicino, a historic canal in the Cremona irrigation network, crosses the agricultural landscape with its waterways and bridges. A place where history and nature meet, offering a fascinating journey through fields and ancient villages.

Natural and evocative, it wouldn't look out of place in a fantasy film. Art in Nature!

Work of the artist Giuliano Mauri, interpreter of natural art, the San Vigilio Bridge in Padernello is an artistic intertwining of chestnut branches on a small watercourse. Suggestively inserted into the landscape, "it is in constant conversation with time, which colors the days and seasons with changing moods" allowing an authentic dialogue between human beings and nature.

Beautiful, in the middle of nature and above an area of brambles and ditches... very suggestive.
